Ban EVMs, Ensure Fair Democracy

Computer scientists from the United States of America have found that Electronics Voting Machines are open to compromise, these machines are vulnerable to serious attacks, which can alter election results, there’s secrecy in elections through ballot papers, Electronic Voting Machines have no secrecy like ballot papers, that’s why in developed countries, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are not used, a country like Bangladesh has banned EVMs.

“Election Commission of India should take note of the vulnerability of EVMs, ban EVMs, and ensure secrecy.” “Opposition parties in India are against EVMs.” “India handles the world’s largest elections, there’s technological interference via the internet, corrupting a gadget is easily possible, systems run by the internet are prone to cyberattacks.”  “Programmes are manipulated.” “Countries around the world, wherever EVMs, are used, don’t find favour.”

“Election through EVMs have issues, which remains unaddressed “. “Objections have been raised in countries,where elections are held through EVMs.”
