United India consumers Association, Bhayander Unit organised annual conference at gokhale hall. The subject of the conference was consumer rights and public awareness which was attended by Dayanand Kilche, President,local unit;Sundar Konar, secretary and treasurer Ghanshyam Singh.All the members of the Association and Ambedkar Nagar and Mira- Bhayandar residents made the programme a grand success with their full co-operation. Mr virendra Singh, President of N.C.C.F. and chief guest of the programme detailed consumer rights.
Mr. Srikant Mishra,President ,United India consumers Association; Office bearer of National Executive committee Saud ahmed Chaudhary; Gopal kumar Rai and numerous people from different walks of life gave their guidance about the rights of consumers. Lion Radheshyam Maurya, Yogacharya and Jadugar Bhartendu, C.A. of the Association Mr. Javier Rajan, Prof. Saras Pandey, Former Mayor of Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation Mr. Narendra Mehta also gave his views about consumer rights.
Mr. S.A. Chaudhary said “United India Consumers Association is a thought and progressing continuously with a mission.It is to be noted that Association has its mission and thought which is as follows: (1)People have right for corruption free society. .(2) A false person has no right to be in business,fraudlent persons have no right to rule..(3)Everyone has eighr to get employment..(4) Will prevent price rise. and will prevent false advertisement.(5). Everyone has right to education, no one is deprived of education, no one is ignorent.(6).Wouldn’t tolerate injustice, everyone has right to get social justice.(7). It’s life committment and will remain committed for brotherhood.” With these committments Mr.Srikant Mishra asked people for awareness, he asked consumers to become members of the Association and also asked people and consumers to accomplish the mission. The Association emphasised the term-mission and application of thought process. Senior Sachetak of the Association P. N. Shah conducted the programme and read the objective of the Association.
In the programme secretary Sundar Konar gave Rs. 51000 to a bilnd person,Srikant Mishra anMr. Chaudhary also gave Rs. 1000 each and besides this he was given several thousands of Rs.by others present in the programme. Programme was successful.
